Aug 26th, 2007 by Anthony
Were do you go to get your domains, software, hosting etc for your blog? Here are my picks for getting everything you need.
Make sure you check out our offer on how you can actually profit by purchasing text links!!! Keep reading to find out how I will pay you $10 right away!
Domain Names
In my opinion, there is only one place to go for Domains - GoDaddy.com. They have the industry best prices and offer amazing customer support.
Tip - Check out RetailMeNot.com and get discounts on your domains. I don’t think I have ever paid full prices for a long time!
Hosting
What good is a domain name without any hosting? Personally, I use a dedicated server, but this is because we host 50+ websites and this would be overkill for most bloggers. I recommend checking out Dreamhost. They offer huge packages, but I have heard of quite a few people having problems with their service. I even had a couple of problems in the past.
If you want budget hosting then you could host with us! We offer all the space and bandwidth you need with Wordpress installation for just $1.59 per month! Contact me for info
Tip - Buy a cheap reseller account from ResellerZoom.com and resell the space and bandwidth you are not using. I have done this in the past and it can save you a $$$!
Software
For running your blog there is nothing better than Wordpress. Its free (and open source) and has a huge community that is constantly pumping out new plugins, themes and mods.
Advertising
If you are serious about making $$$ blogging then it might be a good idea to purchase advertising. Text Ads not only deliver traffic, they also can increase your PageRank. I reccomend using TextLinkAds. I have purchased many links through them and if you buy the right links it can result in huge amounts of traffic.
Tip - Register at TLA using this URL, purchase a post level link (these are just $6-$10) and I will transfer $10 directly into your PayPal account. Thats right, you will profit from purchasing links!!!
Design
Your blogging design is very important and good design could mean the difference between a few visitors and a loyal following. This blog is currently be redesigned to incorporate a more professional image. You could just use a free theme or you could fork out the extra $$$ for a really professional look. NateWhitehill.com recently did the redesign of JohnChow.com and his services are a great place to start. However, if you can’t fork out the $750 or so, you could just purchase a professional theme from TemplateMonster.com.
I receive lots and lots of emails everyday, and its important that they are all organized and accessible from no matter where I am blogging. I recommend using Gmail for its slick user interface and look.
Tip - Go pro by using Google Apps for your domain. This means you can use the wonderful gmail interface for your email ie. anthony@yourdomain.com

What do you think of cashquests post about you?
Kyle, Im not sure what her problem is….maybe shes just jealous because she wasn’t invited on BloggerTalk lol.
I think its a case of the pot calling the kettle black as she is blatantly using misleading information (unlike my traffic experiment) on her personal blog. Just take a look at her last post (o this blog: http://kumikosuzuki.blogspot.com/ ) where she is pretending to have nothing to do with CashQuests. Talk about false information
kumiko sucks balls big time! she’s the biggest loser of all time.
