A blog like this is never going to make huge amounts of income from Adsense.  Why?  Well the fact is, the majority of BD readers know exactly what Adsense is  - and this means less clicks.

So obviously, the trick with Adsense is to try and target readers have no clue what these ads are.

This isn’t to say that you won’t get any click-throughs on a blog like this, but you will receive substainllay more clicks on a blog targeted at the Adsense oblivious.  In fact a blog with less than 100 visitors per day, could be earning more than this blog!

For example, GotYa.tv , a relatively new blog in the Dosh Network, covers entertainment news and posts episodes of shows for you to watch online.  Obviously, the majority of its readers don’t have a clue what Adsense is and so getting people to click on the ads is a walk in the park.

GotYa.tv is currently getting about 50% less visitors than BloggingDosh but its earnings are on par with this blog.

However, the bigger BloggingDosh gets I think the less true my theory will become.  Just take a look at JohnChow.com and his Adsense earnings!

So if you have a blog which falls into the “make money online” niche, don’t expect to make huge Adsense profits. If you are after Adsense dollars, then the best way to do it is through a blog filled with Keywords targeting the Adsense oblivious.
